A Half Cut Mono PERC Solar Panel is a type of photovoltaic panel designed to improve efficiency and durability by utilizing two key technologies: half-cut cell technology and Mono PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology.

 

  • Half-Cut Technology: Traditional solar cells are cut in half, which reduces the electrical current running through each cell and minimizes resistive losses. This design increases efficiency and makes the panel more durable by reducing the risk of hotspots.
  • Mono PERC Technology: Monocrystalline cells are combined with PERC technology, which adds a reflective layer to the back of the cell. This allows more sunlight to be absorbed, increasing power output.

 

These panels are ideal for environments with limited space as they can generate more electricity compared to traditional panels of the same size, with the added benefit of better performance under partial shading conditions.
